      • - We were interested in renting an apartment. We were accepted by the owner. We asked to make a decision by the next day because we had a meeting regarding another apartment. Wanting to make a final decision and re-reading the advertisement on the real estate agency's website, we noticed that the price in the description was higher. The title and table, for an apartment with an area of ​​147 m2, showed a different price than in the description. Being confused, we wrote an inquiry about the rental amount. Additionally, we asked about blinds on the windows and heating. We did not receive a response for three days. We sent a price inquiry again. Mrs. Joyce wrote back to us without providing an answer about the price of the apartment, which was different in three places on the agency's website, but at the same time asking us to make a decision on the same day, emphasizing, not for the first time, that there was another candidate waiting for an answer. We repeated the inquiry and received the answer that the agency has many apartments and does not post photos of all apartments, but informs customers about prices at the meeting. Only it wasn't about the photos, but about the square footage, which was correct in the description and the price was incorrect. Mrs. Joyce wrote that she had definitely given us the information during the pricing meeting and added that she could take another candidate who didn't have as many doubts as we did. Being slightly irritated by Mrs. Joyce's service, we decided to rent the apartment. We expressed our dissatisfaction with the service, to which Ms. Joyce forwarded our response to the owner, putting us in the wrong light. Consequently, the owner decided to take a second candidate. We know that when working with a client, an employee should focus on the client's well-being, inform him in such a way that he understands and apologize for any misunderstandings. Meanwhile, Mrs. Joyce tried to convince us more than once that she informed us about the price during the meeting. We only asked a question, being unsure because the advertisement contained discrepancies as to the price. We did not use the statement that Mrs. Joyce deceived us or intentionally withheld information, only that her statement that she informed us about the price was false. After Mrs. Joyce wrote that she had definitely kept us informed, we wrote an inquiry that why would we write an email asking about the price as if we knew it, that neither of us had heard the price information at the meeting. If the price had been announced, one of us would definitely have heard it and that she might have informed us, but in Dutch, which we didn't understand because we don't know the Dutch language. Mrs. Joyce later admitted that this could have been the case. We were ready to respond the next day, but we received an answer from Mrs. Joyce regarding the price only after three days and an explanation that she was not obliged to respond on the weekend. So why was there an appointment for a response on Friday if she contacted us only after our inquiry on Monday? Previously, you contacted us even at 10:30 p.m. We had reason to be concerned. Our situation was very tense. We were going abroad. We thought that maybe Mrs. Joyce had chosen another candidate after our inquiries about the price, blinds, and heating. , because we asked too many questions. We read a negative opinion on Google, addressed to Mrs. Joyce regarding the lack of contact, so we were left without an answer we felt insecure. I will add, in response to the owner's concerns about us, that we have rented an apartment in France for a long time and have had a family relationship with the owners for 10 years. They trusted us so much that for 10 years they have been offering us free holidays in their apartment in the south of France .The owner of the apartment in the Netherlands, in exchange for cleaning the apartment and taking care of it, returned us money in the amount of one rent.
